How do I get rid of a sofa or an appliance?

The City's free bulk collection program takes appointments at bulkcollection.phila.gov or through 311. It covers up to four items per appointment for single-family homes and multi-family buildings of up to six units. It accepts items like refrigerators, major appliances, and household furniture, and does not accept mattresses, hazardous materials, auto parts, or construction debris.
